Sewing School &Shop

In 2001 a sewing school building was realised. Young women and men are offered the opportunity to start an education for tailor. They can enter this education after their primary education. When successfully completing the the course,the freshly trained tailors become a sowing machine,allowing them to enter the profession of tailor independently. Some opt for joining the knitting atelier.

In the same building as the knitting school,the knitting workshop and shop are located.

Those who successfully completed the sewing courses are working in the workshop,repairing clothes or creating new items. These clothes are sold in the shop or at local markets in the region. We are working towards making the workshop completely self-sufficient,no longer needing the financial support of our project. The employees are therefore going out to acquire new orders and contracts from local and international customers. These orders range from creating T-shirts,school uniforms and many other items.
