Mama Massai International Happy Life Story
Happiness is truly a subjective and relative concept; the measures and means to happiness are within the reach of each of us. Most of us face similar situations and thus have almost identical outcomes and circumstances, and we strive to experience them similarly. And if we know the most common triggers, we gain insight into how to achieve happiness.
So you can be able to experience happiness whenever you want.

The secret to being truly happy is accepting where you are in life and taking the best from everyday life and applying it to your happiness—a happiness quote, then. If you think you're not happy with your life, you're always thinking someone else is happy and that being happy is easy.
During my "Walk A Way," I can learn a lot about my strengths and also discover my own weaknesses. I need to touch my boundaries and explore my deepest selves. Ask questions and find my own conscious answers.
We must know that we are created for greater deeds than simply being in the world and pursuing degrees and diplomas. We are created to live and be loved. This is the fullness of our hearts, which expresses itself in many different ways.
We really don't want expensive gifts; we don't necessarily want to buy special things. We just want someone to be there for us, to make us feel safe and comfortable, so that we can protect the young people around us.
The Lord opens your eyes and your hands. The Lord says good morning to you when you get up. The Lord shows you his sun over your day. The Lord guides your steps, he gives you footholds. The Lord holds your hands in times of sorrow and is your Savior when you are sick and in pain. The Lord gives your thoughts wings to the horizon and gives your ears sweet melodies. The Lord provides you with imagination and joy and sparkles in your eyes so that your neighbors will recognize you as Christians. The Lord opens your hands to the poor in the world so that you may share your bread and the mission of our gospel may grow. The Lord be with you day and evening, with his love and his guardian angel. The Lord makes gratitude, love and faithfulness grow within you.
Many thanks to all, - Mama Massai!
«International Happy Life» promotes a happy life for Kenyan students and worldwide
Grene Schait - Maleko (Mama Massai), founder and president of the Children in Kenya association in Basel, continues to work passionately to ensure that the vision and mission of the International Happy Life project for Kenya Students in Kikambala is realized.
Her goal was and remains to improve the nutrition and health of the people in Kikambala and the immediate neighborhood. Mama Massai recognized the need to improve the community's standard of living, especially for the children who need proper education and schooling. It is also very important to offer young people new opportunities to learn a trade.
Our institution believes in freedom and the idea that goals are achieved through hard work. The school doesn't offer services entirely free of charge—rather, it offers minimal payment. This ensures that the values and concepts of self-development, self-help, and self-initiative are cultivated and fully understood. The main philosophy behind this system is to support people in promoting, performing, achieving, and living self-sustaining actions to fulfill their own development and lead an independent, happy life.
It is a fundamental human right to live a decent, happy life. But, unfortunately, it is not always attainable for many people. In this area, people lack the skills, knowledge, and tools to earn a decent living. And with the resources they have, they are unable to provide for their basic needs, such as proper nutrition, shelter, and education for their children and themselves.
Without intervention, this situation will continue and continue for future generations.
In light of these realities, Mama Massai founded the «International Happy Life» for Kenyan Students in Kikambala with the goal of improving the living conditions of the people in the region. Through her support, she hopes to provide new opportunities, knowledge, and skills for earning a living and careers. Equally important is the transmission of the right and necessary values to break the cycle of poverty and resignation, thus ensuring sustainability and achieving self-development.
We therefore strongly believe that together we can achieve the goal of supporting these people to lead meaningful, happy lives.
The following departments currently exist at the International Happy Life Education Center Kikambala:
All of these departments are fully staffed. However, we still need to attract more students for our opening in February 2014. Marketing plans are in place, but we need to ensure that there is a reasonable number of enrollments in each department before regular specialized classes begin.
All admission documents have been prepared. This means that everything is ready to receive and admit students. Upon successful completion of their respective courses, they will receive their certificates. The students will then be ready to apply the skills they acquired during their training. This will help them pursue gainful employment and earn a living, leading to a higher and better standard of living and a happier life.
The institute is also working on self-catering hotels for students. An affordable monthly fee is charged for full accommodation. This provision of meals and facilities at the school also ensures that students are able to manage their time efficiently.
With the various departments on site, the institution is able to conduct interviews to find suitable and qualified teachers in line with their knowledge. We want to ensure that our institution only employs competent and qualified staff.
Staff accommodations will be provided within the school grounds. This will help maximize security and supervision within the school and monitor the efficiency of staff in performing their duties.
Mama Massai (the school's principal) and her management team are allowed to oversee the smooth running of the school. She trusts and knows that the team works hand in hand, because everyone speaks the same language, and this leads to improvements in the school.
