Collecting donations

Whenever possible, we seek out conversations with people. This happens over the phone or at market stalls, where we are represented with our food truck or "Children in Kenya" sales stand.

We write to private individuals, church and non-profit institutions, and companies and inform them about our work through our brochures.

Donations

We are committed to turning the funds entrusted to us into effective, long-term aid. As a Kenyan, Ms. Grene Schait-Maleko is intimately familiar with the hardship in her country. Her many years of experience in the healthcare system, her understanding of the local bureaucracy, and the mentality of the rural population help us provide targeted assistance where the need is greatest.

The "Kinder in Kenia" association keeps administrative costs as low as possible. For sponsorships of children and young people, the entire donation is used in Kenya.

With membership fees and donations, we support our other projects in Kikambala and finance our administrative expenses.
