Thanks to the support of our sponsors, this project could be financed and realized.
Theft is a common threat in Kenya. However, we believe that by building the wall, we have increased and improved the security of our project, so that we will be confronted with fewer such unwanted incidents in the future.

After several thefts on our property, we had to decide to protect our project with a wall.
Mama Massai has to hire security personnel to ensure minimal security. The protective wall is a very large investment, but it is extremely important for the continued development and protection of the "Children in Kenya" projects.
This protective wall will make intrusion into the area significantly more difficult while also facilitating security. It will not only protect facilities and equipment, especially those of the carpentry and sewing schools, from theft, but will also provide a sense of security for the women and young people staying on the premises.
The wall is 427 meters long, 2.10 meters high, plus a 90 cm foundation. There is also a 7-meter-wide entrance gate.
The construction of the protective wall is coordinated and supervised by the local project manager, Mr. Zachary Moenga Osoro, and his team. In addition, Ms. Grene Schait-Maleko visits the village as needed to ensure that the donations are fully used for our projects.
